This lesson is designed to provide continuing education for persons who need to take a course on first aid, CPR renewal/refresher, and universal safety precautions as part of their re-certification process.
This course follows the American Heart Association® 2010 CPR/ECC Guidelines (the most recent ones), and is presented by an American Heart Association® certified CPR instructor. This course may be used as a CPR renewal (as opposed to initial certification) if your state or agency allows CPR renewal without a hands-on practice component. Many agencies will allow a purely online CPR renewal, but it is suggested that you check with your agency if you are unsure if yours will. Because FCAC is not affilliated with the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association®, this course cannot be used to obtain a card from them. However, as with all of our courses, a certificate of completion will be issued upon passing the online test with at least 80% correct.
